I will be going from India to UK on a student VISA but via Amsterdam. Do i need a Transit Visa for Amsterdam?
While i travel from India to UK on a student VISA, i have a connecting flight through Amsterdam. So i was wondering if one require a transit visa for the same. I have heard that Indian Nationals do not require a transit visa for Netherlands. is that true? Kindly throw some light on it...

You have heard right. Indian passport holders only need an Airport Transit Visa (ATV, type A) for the following Schengen countries: Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Slovakia, Spain. The ATV requirement is waived for those who hold a valid visa for Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Romania, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America. You can transit via Amsterdam without a visa provided that you: • continue your journey to a third country on a connecting flight • hold a ticket with confirmed seats for your next destination • hold all documents required for your next destination • have your luggage checked through to your final destination • do not leave the airport transit area Source(s): EU-Visa Code, Article 3, 5. I am not sure what you mean by LLM, but see http://www.vu.nl/en/index.asp, you can contact them and inquire about the possibilities. Good luck (and welcome to Holland!)

City/Town in Europe with the liveliest student atmosphere?

City/Town in Europe with the liveliest student atmosphere?
I am looking for a beautiful City/Town with an extremely lively University atmosphere. It can be in any West/North/South European country, but I would prefer if it was in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France or the UK.

Denmark - Copenhagen and Ã…rhus. Actually Ã…rhus has more of a student feel as it is a smaller city Sweden - Lund and Uppsala Germany - Freiburg, Heidelberg Netherlands - Utrecht

For Germany: Heidelberg, Berlin and Jenna are all full of students in summer. For Denmark - Copenhagen I noticed a lot of students in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Belgium - Brussels is v. lively. V. young culture eg comic strip art is well-supported and one can enjoy a good mix of art/culture new and old. Uk - Cambridge, Oxford, London is still swinging. In Ireland - Dublin.

People To People Student Ambassador trip?
I got invited to go on a trip to England, France, and the Netherlands with P2P. I was wondering, how much will it cost? Is it worth it? It says my itinerary is Experience Europe.
