Can Foreign Exchange Students still visit the marijuana coffeeshops in the Netherlands?
I am interested in studying abroad and am very curious as to stipulations behind this new Dutch Marijuana law. Will Foreign exchange students be able to indulge in the treacherous shrubbery ?

So long as they are legally resident with authorities (ie have the correct immigration status and registered with a muncipality) then yes they are Dutch residents and will be entitled to obtain a pass - at least as I understand it. It's only becomes "treacherous shrubbery" in the lands of lousy gardners who let it overtake the garden so to speak!
