ATTN! Gifts for Host Family in the Netherlands?
I'm going on a student exchange to the Netherlands! Looking to bring some gifts for my host family. Something Canadian-ish.. Host Mom: Likes cooking, house wife, enjoys running, playing guitar Host Dad: Likes spending time outdoors.., just your average man Host Brother: Likes architecture, baseball, music, reading, sailing Host Sister: Likes fashion, music, harp ANY IDEAS? It doesn't have to follow their interests necessarily.. Thanks in advance :)

Having done this myself its hard to bring gifts to people you don't really know. That's why i suggest covering your bases. I would bring stuff from Canada that really culturally Canadian and is relevant to their interests. I would also bring them something that's non cultural as well. ie box of chocolates or wine.

I would say France or Italy, Netherlands is a great choice too.

All could be good, but what really matters are YOUR language skills and what you want to learn.Of the list you give then Danish students usually have the best English, that's not to say that other countries are bad. You pays your money and takes your choice, any will be an enjoyable experience.

I'd say ITALIA, we are the best at everything ! :D .......be italian.

can I travel when my visa expires but my residence permit is still valid?
Hello, I am a student in the Netherlands at this moment. My multiple entry visa will expire on October 11th; however, my residence permit is until January 21st. My question is, I am going to France on October 20th and will it be okay? I will legally be a resident in the Netherlands but without a visa. Will it cause problems when I have to go through customs - I mean, what happens?

the visa got you into netherlands the residence permit allows you to stay. I would say that leaving the netherlands after the visa expires would cancel out the residence permnit. Only because you are leaving the country, and wanting to come back, I strongly suggest you get another entry visa.

How can I make a proper business plan?

How can I make a proper business plan?
Well, first of all I'm a student from the Netherlands and I'm studying an education which is fully in English called IBMS (International Business and Management Studies). We are supposed to make a proper business plan about an idea we already got. How can I make a proper business plan and which parts should I definitely use? P.S Is there anybody who is studying IBMS by any chance?
